Our Remembrance of the 75th Anniversary of WWII

  • Lightner Museum 75 King Street St. Augustine, FL, 32084 United States (map)

The Flagler College Archives "Meet the Collections and Curators" series is proud to partner with the Lightner Museum, the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center, the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, the Florida National Guard, the Camp Blanding Museum, Marineland, and the National Park Service Archives for Northeast Florida to bring you a very special WWII-themed event.

2020 is the final year of the 75th anniversary of World War II, and some of the institutions in and around St. Augustine want to remember the war by sharing it’s local and national impact. Come explore the collections of these institutions which focus on the Florida experience, the stories of soldiers from Florida, and the general coverage of the war years and experience.

Please come and see what treasures lie hidden in archives, libraries, and museums in Northeast Florida and have an opportunity to talk to the curators of these collections.
