Presented by The Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine, Regina Gayle Phillips will be discussing the upcoming exhibit at the Lincolnville Museum & Cultural Center, The Green Book in St. Augustine. The Green Book was first published in 1936 to help African American travelers find businesses that would accept them, the book continued publication until 1967. The book helped identify hotels, restaurants, and other businesses that accepted African Americans during the Jim Crow era.
