Juneteenth 2024 Recap
Juneteenth 2024 was highlighted by a luncheon hosted by the LMCC at the St. Augustine Renaissance Hotel on June 15th that included music, history, and great food. This was a part of the 60th Anniversary of the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
Historic Woolworth’s Counter now on display
The original counter from the Woolworth’s Store, which was located off King St. across from the Plaza de la Constitution and the site of numerous sit-in protests, is now housed in the LMCC.
